Im Garten brennt ein Feuer und ich denke, die Kinder aus der Nachbarschaft werden gleich nach Süßem fragen, das hier wohlsortiert in einer Schüssel auf Abnehmende wartet. Dazu Carbon Based Lifeforms, selektiert und gemixt von Savvas Kalt. Acid Ambient, Psybient, nennt es, wie ihr wollt. Könnte gerade besser gar nicht sein.

Eine gute Grundlage, auf der man sich ganz wunderbar von den ambienten Klängen tragen lassen kann, die Chloe Harris aka Raica für die Humano Studios™ auf die Plattenteller gepackt hat. Toll auch, dass derartiger Sound auch heute noch auf Vinyl veröffentlicht wird.

Der Herbst kommt schneller als ein ICE zu fahren vermag und ich dachte vorhin im SC-Feed, klick doch mal drauf. Und dann rauscht es irgendwo zwischen ambientem Techno und den dubigen Chords, die diesen Sound noch immer so liebeswürdig machen. Gemixt von Silent Wanderer. Alles durchaus ältere aber eben auch zeitlose Produktionen, die verdammt gut zum vorherrschenden Wetter passen. Ich lass das mal so.

Der in Los Angeles ansässige Experimentalkomponist Alexey Seliverstov kombiniert mit alten Diktiergeräten diverse Samples von einem Klavier aus einem verlassenen japanischen Barockhotel auf der Insel Hachijo, DX7 Strings, einem Feld in Zambujeira do Mar in Portugal, künstlichen tropischen Vögeln, Nachtvögeln in Los Angeles und Geräuschen von einer Kreuzung vor seinem Fenster. Und schafft so das, was er Generative Ambient nennt. Mag ich.
