reggae in the mountains, reggae in China!!!
i am a musician and producer living in Yang Shuo, South of China. i first introduced to Reggae music nine years ago, and has been creating my own Reggae since then.
Although my music is deeply influenced by Reggae, the core of his music originates from traditional Chinese culture and ancient music.
In 2008, I with Sly & Robbie finished their collaboration on the music “Chinese Reggae”. As a landmark of this successful amalgamate of Eastern and Western music, i ll be producing my Reggae/Dub music with tinges of different cultures. i established an indie label in china called “Ping Pong”, and will be promulgating and promoting Reggae and Dub music and culture worldwide. and spread reggae music in china!!!
In China, reggae is is only known by a few people. It is my goal to make reggae big in China. I hope I will be able to spread reggae music in my country. To do this I am always open to learn more about reggae myself, to learn from other musicians. Anyone that can help me is welcome. and i hope collaborate with other artists from all over the world.
