Konzepte aus hunderten gleichfalls benutzter Dronen ersetzen mittlerweile so einige Feuerwerke. Find ich gut, denn sie machen deutlich weniger Krach und die Visualisierungen sind deutlich ausdifferenzierter als das bei Raketen und Co. möglich ist. Ich schaue da gerne mal rein und hab neulich mal geguckt, was in der Szene so los ist. Einiges, aber die Preise für derartige Shows sind außerirdisch. Aber gut, wir müssen die nicht zahlen und können trotzdem so etwas Schönes wie diesen fliegenden Drachen sehen, der sich aus nicht weniger als 1500 Dronen ergibt, die alle zeitgleich gesteuert werden.
Und da wir ja erst am Anfang derartiger Umsetzbarkeiten sind, dürften da zukünftig noch deutlich spektakulärere Shows auf uns zu kommen.

Laser lesen eigentlich CDs und bringen sie zum Klingen. Plattenspieler hingegen machen das per Nadel. Wenn man aber einen Laser auf Glow-in-the-dark vinyls hält entstehen hübsche und vergängliche Muster auf den Platten.

„Platform 9 34s“ vom Briten Matt Pritchard.
The illusion is of a LEGO car driving through a solid wall. The reality is there is a car sized hole in the middle of the wall for toy to drive through. The missing brick work is replaced by an anamorphic illusion on the floor behind the wall. When viewed from one perspective, the vertical bricks and horizontal bricks line up and appear to be one solid wall. The pattern camouflages the edges and makes it extremely hard to distinguish any discontinuities.
